The Inaugural Safety and Health Conference and Expo 2024 is organized by the Safety and Health Association Uganda (SHAU) in partnership with the Ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development Department of Occupational Health and with support from various industry stakeholders.
The conference plays a critical role in creating opportunities for Uganda’s domestic and international interests since it brings together key policy and decision-makers, business leaders, academia, and investors from all over the world.

WHERE: Golf Course Hotel, Kampala
Discussions will Centre on the best industry practices and policies to ensure Safety and excellent well-being through the various key sectors such as Manufacturing, Construction, Aviation, Oil and gas and the various service industries.
Also, the Conference and exhibitions shall shed light on available opportunities in the Safety, Health, and Environment business horizon. Also, the conference and exhibition shall involve experience sharing and discussing emerging sector challenges and how to
overcome them.
A comprehensive showcase/exhibition of the products and services provided by industry participants will take place.

It aims to explore ways to transform existing regulations to address emerging challenges better and promote continuous improvement in safety standards.
Through collaborative efforts, the conference aims to encourage stakeholders from various sectors to work together in implementing best practices and strategies that go beyond regulatory compliance, aiming for excellence in workplace safety and wellbeing
The conference will feature a dedicated session for presenting research abstracts to aid in fostering knowledge exchange among professionals, researchers, and industry leaders in the field of safety and health
